Gutter Replacement and Cleaning

I specialise in exterior home repairs so these are common jobs for me. I often do a full gutter replacement or a gutter clean, so can whichever you need me to do.    I’m a Liverpool handyman who regularly replaces facias, soffits and gutters.

Why do I need to clean my gutters?

Because, ideally your gutters control the flow of water around your home.  Its best to keep them clean and debris free, in the long run this saves you a lot of money in repair bills.

When clogged gutters cause water to back up in your gutters, it can also create undetected roof leaks – these can also mean interior damage to your walls and ceilings.  Its definitely best to keep your gutters clear in the first place.

Gutters
The channels that collect and control the flow of water.  Usually made from UPVC rather than metal these days.  UPVC gutters don’t rust and are strong but at the same time flexible.

Facias
Vertical board that gutters are attached to.  Also supports part of the bottom row of tiles on your roof.  Facias are more exposed to the weather, especially rain.  Replacing wooden fascias with UPVC fascias is something I can do to help reduce maintenance and improve the look of your home.

Soffits
The board with the horizontal plane, that you see most of from street level – cleaning these will improve the look of your home.
