Are you looking for handyman prices in the Liverpool area? Here are my rates and some other information you might find useful if you are considering hiring me.
What are your handyman rates?
I work to a set price for certain jobs. Otherwise half day is £90 and full day is £180 – these seem to work best for odd job lists.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Minimum charge is two hours at £50.

Do you work weekends?
I usually work Monday – Friday.
How long will I have to wait to get my job done?
There will sometimes be short notice availability, but there is usually a wait of a week or two.
Are you insured ?
Yes. Smart Home Maintenance has public liability insurance. Ask to see the certificate anytime.
Do you charge VAT?
No.
Do you offer 24 hour service?
No. I don’t cover 24 hours a day. I work from 9am til 5pm. .
What area do you provide handyman services to?
I am local a local Merseyside handyman who covers Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley. .
How can I pay?
You can pay by bank transfer or cash.
Are there any jobs you don’t do?
I don’t work with boilers.
Do you do electrical work?
I replace lights and switches but don’t do new electrical wiring, a specialist electrician is required for this type of work. .
Are you Gas Safe?
No. I’m not registered gas safe and do not carry out this type of work.
